2007 marks Irina Rindzuner’s New York City Opera debut in the role of Santuzza in Cavalleria Rusticana. She will also debut the title role in Manon Lescaut at DiCapo Opera Theater in New York City as well as perform a concert of Puccini Love Duets at the Vero Beach Opera in Florida.
Other operatic roles performed include Tatiana (Eugene Onegin), Cio-cio-san (Madama Butterfly), Santuzza (Cavalleria Rusticana), the title role in Tosca, Cleopatre (La Morte de Cleopatre), Klytemnestra (Agamemnon, Taneyev), Ottavia (L’incoronazione di Popea).
She has performed with equal success in the United States as well as Europe at companies such as Tulsa Opera (USA), at the Teatro di Casal Maggiore (Italy), Yekaterinburg Opera ( Russia), New Jersey Verismo Opera(USA) and with the New York Choral Society at Carnegie Hall, Mid-America Productions at Carnegie Hall, the Puerto Rico Symphony, the Silesian Philharmonic (Poland), and at the Khabarovsk Theater (Russia).
Irina has won international vocal competitions in Italy (Monteverdi International Vocal Competition), Russia (First Opera International Vocal Competition) and been a finalist at the Lyric Opera Center for American Artists in Chicago and the Licia Albanese Puccini Foundation in New York City.
