General | | Biography: | Elizabeth Heuermann, graduate of the prestigious Indiana University School of Music, has performed in seven languages for audiences from San Francisco to Austria, in roles such as the Title Role in Manon, Pamina in The Magic Flute, Musetta in La Boheme, Norina in Don Pasquale, and Contessa Almaviva in Le Nozze di Figaro. Some of the venues for which she has sung include Carnegie Hall, Dell’Arte Opera of New York City in affiliation with the 92nd Street Symphonic Orchestra, New York Metro Vocal Arts, Milwaukee Opera Theatre, Austin Lyric Opera, Opera Illinois, St. Martin’s Chamber Players, Bradley Orchestra, and AIMS Festival in Austria.
Additionally, Messiah, St. John’s Passion, Mass of the Children, and Exsultate Jubilate are a few of her sacred performances. Her musical theatre and operetta experience include Adele in Die Fledermaus, Lisa in Das Land des Lachelns, and Maria in West Side Story. Ms. Heuermann was a semi-finalist winner for the Meistersinger Competition in Austria, a Scholarship Winner from the Austin Lyric Opera, and was awarded a grant to study at the University of Siena in Italy. |
