General | | Biography: | Handsome bass Mikhail Kolelishvili has vaulted on to the International Opera stage with as a finalist in the 2005 International BBC Cardiff Singer of the World Competition and winner of the 2003 Elena Orbratsova competition.
Mr. Kolelishvili, graduated from Tbilisi V.Saradjishvili State Conservatory with a Master’s Degree and has been a soloist of the Mariinsky Theatre Academy since 2000. Other prestigious awards garnered by Mr. Kolelishvili include:
Laureate of Republic Vocal Competition Tbilisi, Georgia (1999)
Diploma and prize-winner of the Fifth International competition of the young opera singers of Rimsky-Korsakov (2002)
Fifth international competition of vocalists named by S.Monyushko Warsaw, Poland First prize Laureate of the competition and the prize of the best bass named by Adam Didur (2004)
