General | | Biography: | Born in Karaganda city of Kazakhstan on March 27, 1970, Vitaly Efanov graduated from the Karaganda Musical College in 1989 and later, from the Novosibirsk State Conservatoire. From his first year in the Conservatoire he was spotted as a gifted singer and received numerous engagements at the Novosibirsk State Opera; tours including in Spain, Portugal and Bulgaria. From 1994-2000 Vitaly Efanov was a soloist with Novosibirsk State Opera. At present he is one of the leading singers of the Moscow New Opera Theatre.
Vitaly Efanov has participated in several international vocal competitions, receiving numerous awards and honors. He is the winner of international Vocal Contest in Kazakhstan in 1998.
He won the award The Success of the Year1993), touring in Spain (1999), Israel (2002), Portugal (1996, 1999) and Korea (Seoul 2005, 2006), appearing on the stages before the audiences of leading opera theatres like the Sorbonne Grand Amphitheatre in Paris, theatres in Karlsruhe and Manheim.
Vitaly Efanov has taken part and sung the leading roles in the productions conducted by well-known professionals like G. Rozhdestvensky, J. Simonov, E. Klas, E. Kolobov, A. Katz, V. Polyansky and others.
